Beer Garden

“It’s the backyard you’ve got when you ain’t got a backyard” As one customer humorously put it...

We have a wonderful outdoor area of lawns and gardens, expansive decks, and an amazing sandpit for kids.  Kids are welcome to bring down their cricket bats, balls and frisbees and any other associated toys so you can relax and enjoy the beautiful surrounds, while they happily entertain themselves!  Please note - Parents must take full responsibility for their children at all times.

The beautiful new deck area at the end of the main atrium has now been completed & is the perfect venue for live bands and entertainers, and a fantastic area for hosting wedding ceremonies.  We have also converted the 'Dance School' into a Rustic style function room called the Shed. This venue has its own bar and toilet facilities, plasma TVs, projection screen, as well as a small stage, pool tables, and a huge wrap around verandah. Another great venue for your next function.

LIVE MUSIC in the gardens most Sundays from 2 or 3pm, through the afternoon. Check out our events site or link to the facebook site for more information. 

Mary’s Bar

Mary's Bar, being one of the original Pise Huts of the historic site is the main public bar at Rose Cottage  We've just installed a brand new Glycol Beer system ensuring your beers are poured icy cold. On tap we have Carlton Draught, Carlton Dry, XXXX Gold, and Cascade Light.  We stock a full range of standard and premium beers. All your usual favorites - VB, MB, Carlton, Coopers, Crown and Corona, as well as spirits and a great wine list.   Happy Hour from 5-7pm Wed, Thurs & Fridays.

 The biggest watering hole on the south side in the 80’s but now just a nice spot for that ice cold beer and a great time.
